Wow, long day.
I have a post that will be going up tomorrow that is very relevant to this blog. Being in between jobs is kind of messing up my sleep schedule. Until tomorrow though, check out this web comic. SMBC is an amazing web comic that I highly recommend to everyone. And yes, this comic is relevant to the blog.

Current Thoughts.
I have a lot on my mind right now, especially on Atheism in general, but a few topics on how it relates to politics (who would have guessed!?). I just wanted to let you guys know that I am going to try to update this somehow everyday at the very least, so there will always be something to read.
The things I'm currently working on are:
- An article about S.E. Cupp being an Atheist, yet catering to her Conservative readers by writing a book about media attacks on religion.
- Getting comments about religion in general from some Fox News personalities that have never commented on their religion before.
- Glenn Beck's obsession with the Founding Fathers, specifically Thomas Jefferson, and how many of them were Deists, not Christians.
- Bill O'Reilly's past comments and how they line up to the Catholic Churches teachings, since he is a Catholic himself.

An Introduction.
It is commonplace for people to associate political movements, parties, and leaders to their religious beliefs. One uncommon belief that is hardly heard in the mainstream directly attached to politics is that of the Atheist viewpoint.
Coincidentally, Atheism and Agnosticism are the two of the largest growing religious trends around the world, including in America. Never acknowledged by the mainstream and hardly recognized as a religious school of thought at all, Atheism has become somewhat of a political taboo and is thus swept under the rug to stay out of the public light.
There is a huge misconception that Atheism has no moral system whatsoever, and that we are all 'anarchists' of the religious sense. This blog will not only try to destroy some of the false common views of Atheism in general, but will also link how it relates to politics in America and why these two things are very important.
I look forward to posting on a regular basis putting my "Atheist" slant on the current state of politics in America. Unfortunately for me, this means that I will be watching a lot of Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, and others in the political media arena in order to provide Atheistic commentary.
